Morning walk at Stallion Mountain in Las Vegas

Today, Dec 6, 2008, we took our morning walk, and decided to show some of the beauty that we observed. The first pic is of a beautiful rose bush with buds still opening. It also seems strange to see Christmas decorations in the same yard with rose bushes

This is the view across the golf course looking to the "Strip" where many casinos are. To the right, you can see a touch of snow on top of Mt. Charleston, just above the Stratosphere. You may need to look at the full size pic to see the snow.

The last picture shows the blossums on the tree in Rich's back yard, they are so pretty.

It's just so tough to live out here during this time of year...btw, how's the snow there up north for those living there? ;-)

Isn't snow white and cold? ;) Seriously, I always hope for some snow around Christmas; just seems 'right'.

We are missing the snow storms that are hitting Michigan right now. We just have slop here in Indiana.

We had snow yesterday! It was beautiful. Of course, most of it's gone now.

BTW...Grandpa I like your 12/7 comment. It's kind of like speaking before you think. Only this is printing before you think. ;)
