Then on to Gaylord and Beaver Creek Resort. Gee, just up the road we found 1958 fellow graduate Judy (Kennicott) Chavey.
And as luck would have it, we were in time for the 44th annual Gaylord Alpenfest, a week full of “Pure Michigan Fun”. Gaylord sure does it up right! With over 80 events happening, there is something for everyone. We spent nearly all day Wed. there.

A delicious Chicken BBQ was then followed by a concert by the Lettermen! I heard one local say it was the biggest crowd they had ever seen in downtown Gaylord. WHAT A SHOW, and sure

Glad you are having a good time. Get pictures of Alpena. There is a couple that is doing a church plant in Alpena that we know. They have 4 very cute kids.

Looks like you two are really enjoying yourselves. Sorry you didn't win the knee contest though. ;) Can't wait to 'see' more fun from Michigan.

Oh, I thought you were a music major, and had studied ALL the Greats! :-) Actually, they started in 1962, the year Uncle Rich was born.
