We currently are in Salome, AZ. Temps in the 60's, near 32 at night. So today, we went to Quartzsite to visit the HUGE RV Show. All kinds of RVs, booths, swap meet areas, etc. Spent money. For anyone who is not familiar with Quartzsite, it is a fairly small town (1700), which grows to nearly a million people in January. Most of the population is dry camping in the desert on BLM land, as you come over the mountain pass, all you see is RVs throughout the desert! They have a mineral & gem show, as well as the week long RV show, and upwards of 2000 vendors of ALL kinds. You can find ANYTHING.
One of our Christmas presents from Rich is a Photo Scanner, which scans pictures AND slides. So we have been busy sorting & scanning our many prints & slides, so they will be digitized and saved on the computer. The comments about the temps brought back memories, and this picture came to mind. As we continue to sort & scan, you can expect that some of the "past" will get posted on this Blog as well as on our web site. Hope you enjoy it. If you have any suggestions, please let us know.

Wow - that picture really brings back some memories! It's nice to see you posting some of the old pictures. Enjoy the weather. We're almost freezing our butts off here. :)
We are at a balmy 16 this morning at 10:00. Going to the hospital to see Joe's mom today. She came out of surgery very well. The doctor said that he put a plate and some screws in to hook everything together. Time and physical therapy will tell how much use she will have of the shoulder. She should come home later today or tomorrow. Great picture of the house in Clarksville. Definitely brings back many memories!
yea it brings back memories...of how darn cold it is in Michigan!!! :-)
Oh my goodness, is that the house in Clarksville??? I have quite a few memories of being there when Priscilla and Melissa had friends that lived there. They had chickens too.
Anyway, went by there this summer and it sure doesn't look the same. That is a beautiful picture!
Oh, almost forgot....my brother-in-law uploads his pictures to the internet at a site called picasa, and then you can make them into a slide show with captions and everything. Then you can upload it to your blog or website.I think then when you post even a single picture it puts it in your "album" on picasa. That would be really neat and I think save you some time as far as putting up all those old pictures!(there is another site too that you can use, it's called Flickr). Good Luck!
